These are not hard and fast rules. They are guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a kind, friendly place for civilized public discourse.

Code of Conduct

The TinyCommand Community Code of Conduct (Code of Conduct) applies to all our forums, online discussions, blog comments, in-person events, and any other TinyCommand (TC) - hosted activities. By participating, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct, as well as our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Your participation signifies acceptance of these terms and acknowledgment that your profile details (e.g., name, profile picture) might be visible to others in the community.

The Code of Conduct is subject to updates without prior notice, and adherence is critical to maintaining a positive, productive environment. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in warnings or permanent bans from the community.

Core Principles of the TinyCommand Community

  • Everyone in the community deserves respect. Keep your language and behavior professional and courteous at all times.
  • No discrimination, harassment, hate speech, or offensive language will be tolerated based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other personal characteristics.
  • Disagreeing is okay but personal attacks are not. Be mindful of others’ perspectives, and contribute constructively to discussions.

  • This community is focused on TinyCommand (TC), automation tools, and related topics. Please keep your contributions relevant and avoid spamming, self-promotion, or solicitation of unrelated products and services.
  • Always post in the correct category and avoid cross-posting the same message in multiple threads.
  1. Help Each Other Grow
  • Offer support and constructive feedback to others. This is a place for mutual learning, whether you’re troubleshooting, sharing tips, or providing updates about new automation.
  • Acknowledge helpful contributions mark replies as “Best Answer” or upvote helpful comments.
  • Always credit external sources of information, content, or ideas when you share them.
  1. Ensure Privacy and Confidentiality
  • Protect your own and others’ privacy by not sharing personally identifiable information (PII) unless necessary. If a forum is public, assume your content can be viewed by anyone.
  • Do not share confidential or sensitive information about TinyCommand (TC) or your organization. Adhere to your own company’s privacy and confidentiality rules when posting in the forum.
  1. No Harassment or Disruptive Behavior
  • Any form of harassment (direct or indirect), intimidation, or hostile behavior whether in group discussions, direct messages, or public spaces is strictly prohibited.

Consequences for Violating the Code of Conduct

Violations of the Code of Conduct will be handled by the community moderation team. Actions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Warnings: A written warning will be issued, outlining the violation.
  • Temporary Suspension: A temporary block on participation, with the possibility of reinstatement after the suspension period ends.
  • Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated violations will result in a permanent ban from the community. Note that we ban people, not accounts, so creating multiple accounts to circumvent a ban will not be tolerated.

Changes to the Code of Conduct

The TinyCommand Community Code of Conduct is a living document and may be updated over time. These changes will be effective immediately upon posting. While we’ll notify the community about significant changes, it’s your responsibility to stay updated on the latest version of the Code of Conduct.

By participating in this community, you acknowledge that your personal information (such as your name and profile photo) may be visible to others. Your engagement in any discussion, event, or forum also constitutes your acceptance of our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
